The German far-right party AfD has become increasingly radical in recent years, and simultaneously, its vote share has risen. In 2025, the party became the second strongest in the general German election, and by 2029, it aims to become part of the government. Right-wing ideas are no longer the opinions of a radical minority – they have entered the mainstream of society. My long-term project, Deutschland 2029, is a photographic essay documenting this development, anywhere between local rallies, party leaders and merchandise shops.
